The Double Block Grip design provides strong grip and handling. Microscopic Arctic Grip Crystals act like built-in studs for ice grip. As the tyre wears, more particles are exposed to provide a reserve of grip.
QUIET COMFORT
Electric cars are quiet, so low tyre noise makes the drive even more comfortable. Less noise can make journeys more pleasant and less tiring for the driver, while also reducing noise outside the car. Nokian Tyres SilentDrive™ uses an acoustic foam layer inside the tyre to keep noise exceptionally low. The Silent Touch tread adds to driving comfort.

Hakkapeliitta R5 EV was designed to reduce its carbon footprint from the choice of materials onwards. The Green Trace compound delivers winter grip, more mileage and low rolling resistance. The compound is optimised for electric cars to reduce rolling resistance further. Its high natural rubber content keeps it flexible in changing conditions. Low rolling resistance saves fuel and reduces harmful emissions.
